Some old Rangers memories of 1964. . . .

NOW YOU KNOW: Jimmy Millar was Rangers hero in 1964
Scottish Cup Final win over Dundee.

RANGERS have won many domestic trophies over the years, with a world record 54 league title wins. They have also had seven treble-winning seasons in 1948-49, 1963-64, 1975-76, 1977-78, 1992-93, 1998-99 and 2002-03…

R. WILLIAMSON (Govan) As a young boy I was taken to my first Scottish Cup Final in 1964 when Rangers beat Dundee 3-1. Could you give me the goalscorers and did Rangers become treble-winners after their win against Dundee?

Rangers goals came from Jimmy Millar (2) and Ralph Brand. Dundee’s goal came from Kenny Cameron. Rangers did indeed win the treble during the 1963-64 season.

Haste ye back.

Re: Some old Rangers memories of 1964. . . .

Good memory Jimmy,  Jimmy Miller was a very popular player and worked hard in every match. I remember him scoring against Kilmarnock in a Scottish Final a few years earlier.  I have the video of that match against Dundee somewhere. It is featured in Jim Baxter's video where he gave a master class.
